COMPANY PROFILE

Domenichelli & Associates (D&A) was established in May of 2002 by President Joseph Domenichelli.  Mr. Domenichelli has over 20 years of experience as a civil engineer with an emphasis on water resources projects.  While with D&A and at other consulting firms, he has provided a variety of services from master planning of water, wastewater, and drainage systems for entire communities, to the design and construction management of municipal improvement facilities such as pipelines, pump stations, and levee and stream restorations.

Since May 2002, Domenichelli and Associates have provided design of several water pumping and conveyance systems including: raw water, treated water and wastewater pump stations for Sacramento County and Calaveras County Water District and design of two miles of raw water pipeline for Calaveras County Water District.  D&A has also provided design and construction services for a storm drain pump station and detention basin in the Town of Yountville, design review and construction services on two storm drain pump stations for Sacramento County and design improvements for a pump station and wastewater treatment plant at Rancho Murieta. 

Other services have included a feasibility study for the replacement of over five miles of treated water Techite pipeline for El Dorado Irrigation District, design of an infiltration gallery diversion off of Dry Creek for the Sacramento Area Flood Control Agency, a FEMA study and levee pre-design for the County of Colusa, two bridge hydrology & hydraulic studies for San Joaquin County, two diversion structure designs for Del Webb in Lincoln, a flood impact study on the San Joaquin River for a new ski lake and habitat restoration project, public outreach and construction services for floodwall improvements in the Town of Yountville, and construction services for a channel and siphon project for Western Canal Water District.  In addition to the projects mentioned above, D&A has been selected for on-call engineering services contracts with El Dorado Irrigation District and the City of Folsom.

PRESIDENT’S COMMITMENT

I intend to keep Domenichelli & Associates, Inc relatively small to ensure that I can give all projects my personal attention and care while relying on years of experience and expertise to provide a wide range of engineering services. I have carefully planned this venture to assemble the appropriate skills, technologies, and important working relationships with other skilled professionals in order to provide the highest level of engineering services at reasonable costs.
