Katie Cooper has worked at D&A for over 5 years on a variety of projects ranging from infrastructure replacement projects to Hydrologic and Hydraulic studies. Ms. Cooper has worked extensively in Sacramento and El Dorado County providing plans and specifications for multiple water main replacement projects, sanitary sewer force main replacement projects, and storm drain design projects. Through her project experience Ms. Cooper has gained valuable pipeline design knowledge, enabling her to identify potential constructability issues during design and address them to minimize change orders in the field. In addition to her work on pipeline design Ms. Cooper has worked on hydrologic studies to determine the effects of proposed development, hydraulic analysis on bridges to evaluate design alternatives and identify the necessary scour countermeasures to protect the bridges, and pump station design.
