Services: Stream Restoration Engineering
D&A has wide-ranging experience in stream restoration studies and design. Our projects range from large river restoration design to modeling of streams for use in determining the effects of hydromodification. Our recent experience includes modeling and design of reaches along the Trinity and Tuolumne Rivers to improve fish passage. D&A has also worked on fish ladder design.

Stream Restoration Services include:
- Open channel hydraulic modeling using HEC-RAS, HEC-2, UNET, and River 2D
- Hydrologic Modeling using HEC-HMS and HEC-1
- Geomorphology analysis
- Hydro-modification analysis

- GIS database preparation and updating

Permitting Services include:
- Central Valley Flood Protection Board (CVFPB)
- CEQA/NEPA Environmental documentation
- Exemption documentation (if applicable)
- Encroachment permit documentation
- Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) development and monitoring (using SMARTS)
- Erosion and sediment control plan development
- CalTrans permitting
Construction Services include:
